Video: Earth | Time Lapse View from Space, Fly Over | NASA, ISS
HD, refurbished, smoothed, retimed, denoised, deflickered, cut, etc.
All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible,
avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original
footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature.Music: Jan Jelinek | Do Dekor, faitiche back2001

Now Reading: Reamde
„Back in 2010, I found myself in Seattle (I was touring with my novel For the Win — a young adult science fiction novel about gold-farming), I stopped by Neal Stephenson’s place for breakfast and asked him what he was working on. He said, „You ever heard of ‚gold-farming?’“ I couldn’t help but smile.“
Stephenson’s REAMDE: perfectly executed, mammoth, ambitious technothriller – Boing Boing.

„Fraktionen sind ohnehin eher Teil des Problems als Teil der Lösung“
Bundestagspräsident Norbert Lammert steht in der Kritik, weil er bei der Debatte über den EFSF nicht wie üblich nur die von den Fraktionen bestimmten Redenden das Wort erteilt hat, sondern auch den Abgeordneten Willsch (CDU) und Schäffler (FDP).

The Flaming Lips to Encase 24-Hour Song in Human Skull
Yes, you’re reading this correctly. Following the release of their charitable six-hour song, the Flaming Lips will record a 24-hour track and encase five of the recordings (which will be placed on hard drives) in human skulls, reports O Music Awards.
